Boys and Girls State!
Congratulations to Southeastern's Girls and Boys State Representatives for 2024, Shelby Terry, Jon Garrett Head, and Rhoaden Harris (not pictured). These students will spend a week at Troy University not only developing the skills below but also building friendships that will impact the rest of their lives.
Boys and Girls State is a program designed to
- develop leadership and pride in American citizens,
- educate citizens about our system of government,
- instill a greater understanding of American traditions, and
- stimulate a desire to maintain our democratic government processes within our republic.
